Reception – Year 6

Children at Riverley experience a broad and creative curriculum full of enriched learning experiences to develop a love of learning. We are committed to widening our children’s horizons through exploratory and investigative learning that opens their minds and engages them with new and extraordinary ideas.

The creative curriculum allows children to apply their learning in different contexts, therefore embedding and consolidating skills. This love of learning and depth of knowledge is promoted through our school wide themes, meaning that all children access learning on an individual, class and whole school level. The Griffin Schools Trust vision of Proud Traditions, Wide Horizons and High Achievement underpins everything that we do and supports our aspirations and ambitions for all our pupils. Our environment is used as a positive space to ignite curiosity and raise aspiration. Everyone must have a sense of place and feel they belong in order to be productive, successful and reach their full potential.
