Founders Day Celebration, including our Assembly

Watch our Founders’ Day Assembly below:

As we approach our 6th annual Founders’ Day, we reflect on what it means to be part of a family of
13 schools but also what it means to be part of the Riverley family. Never has our Riverley family
been more important as we all learn to cope and adapt to the ongoing challenges everyone is
facing.

To celebrate Founders’ Day this year, we wanted to give back to our amazing community. Each year group contributed some amazing things to our hampers that we sent out to our local hospital and Leyton Orient Football Club. We think that these two organisations are incredible so this was our way of saying thank you! We have had the honour of working alongside Leyton Orient Football Club who have provided outstanding workshops and opportunities for our children, giving them invaluable experiences. Our local hospital are absolute heroes who have been working relentlessly throughout this time. Riverley Primary hopes that our little hamper of treats, artwork, poetry and a book of positivity can put a smile of their faces!

On this day, we kicked off our Proud Tradition with a dance off with Coach Kieran to the GST Founders’ Day song, “We get locked down”! Then we spent the whole day celebrating what it means to be Griffin Great and expressing ourselves in our traditional dress or something that makes us unique!
